ISLANDERS RECALL DEFENCEMAN GEORGE

Oct 31, 2026

The New York Islanders have recalled defenceman Isaiah George from the Hamilton Hammers, the team announced Saturday.

The move comes after Ryan Pulock was injured in the first period of Thursday’s 4-3 against the Minnesota Wild after just recording 51 seconds of ice time.

George has five assists and one goal in 37 career games with the Islanders. So far this season, the 22-year-old blueliner has played in four games for the Hammers.

The Hammers wrap up the weekend Sunday afternoon with a trip to Utica to take on the Comets. Watch the game live on AHLTV on FloHockey.

Hamilton returns to TD Coliseum on Wednesday to host the Toronto Marlies for Student Night presented by Mohawk College, opening a three-game homestand that also includes visits from the Providence Bruins and Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Tickets are available at HamiltonHammers.com.
