ISLANDERS RECALL CHAFFEE FROM HAMILTON

The New York Islanders have announced that Mitchell Chaffee was emergency recalled from loan (Hamilton) on Monday morning. Alexander Romanov was placed on IR.

Chaffee, who signed a one-year deal with the Islanders over the summer, has six points (4G, 2A) in six games with AHL Hamilton.

Romanov suffered a torn ACL in his right knee on October 6 against the New York Rangers and is expected to be out for six-to-eight months.

The Hammers begin a three-game road trip Wednesday against the Toronto Marlies before visiting the Laval Rocket for back-to-back games October 23 and 24. All three games will be streamed live on AHLTV on FloHockey.

Hamilton returns to TD Coliseum on October 29 to host the Hartford Wolf Pack for its Halloween Game. Tickets are available at HamiltonHammers.com.
